Privacy notice
Effective October 23, 2026. Short version: we collect only what you type into the contact form, use it only to reply and (if you ask) to tell you about new guides and the playbook launch, and never sell it.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, message, whether you ticked “email me”, and the time you sent it.
- Server logs: like any website, our server and our network provider record IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to profile you.
We do not run advertising, analytics or tracking cookies of our own, and we do not create accounts.
Why we use it
- To answer your question.
- If you tick the box: to email you when the playbook and new guides are published. That is the only marketing email we send, and every message lets you unsubscribe. You can also withdraw consent at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or writing to us through the contact form.
Who else handles it
- Google (Apps Script and Google Sheets) stores contact-form messages on our behalf.
- Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, and processes connection data to do so.
- TradingView provides the ticker, market map, charts and headline widgets. They load from TradingView’s servers, which can set their own cookies under TradingView’s privacy policy.
- Google Fonts serves the site’s typefaces, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them.
Some of these providers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept while we are in touch with you and for up to two years afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them. Notification consent is kept until you withdraw it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw consent, through the contact form. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If this notice changes, the effective date at the top changes too.
